Women’s Golf Hosts The Gold Rush At Old Ranch Country Club Starting Monday

The field features 12 teams including Long Beach State.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Hosting duties continue this week for Long Beach State Women's Golf as LBSU welcomes 12 teams to Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach for the sixth consecutive year.
Long Beach State is excited to be hosting The Gold Rush for the ninth time with a tremendous field. 2018 Team Champion Georgia returns along with teams from around the country in a field that includes Charlotte, New Mexico State, Sacramento State, Minnesota, Boston College, Fresno State, Santa Clara, Idaho and BYU in addition to Big West foes UC Irvine and the Beach.
Sophomore Hannah Ko will be leading the team on the weekend following her team-best finish at the Rebel Beach Invitational in Las Vegas, where she tied for 11th overall. Seniors Holland Shourds, Maria Davis and Euna Pak will join her as will fellow sophomore Hunter Pate to round out the lineup.
Additionally, Long Beach State will have four individuals competing with sophomores Morgan Polley and Hannah Son as well as freshmen Chloe Carraway and Vanessa Richani representing themselves at the local tournament.
Just down the road from campus, spectators are encouraged to come see the beautiful course and cheer on their favorite teams provided proper dress code is followed. The teams will tee off for 36 holes on Monday starting at 8 a.m., followed by a final round of 18 holes on Tuesday, also starting at 8 a.m.
