Women’s Golf Begins Spring Proper By Co-Hosting Rebel Beach Invitational

Women’s Golf will make their second of three trips to Las Vegas this season.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The full portion of the spring schedule will get started for Women's Golf this coming Monday, February 17 as the Beach co-hosts the Rebel Beach Invitational with UNLV in Las Vegas.
The Rebel Beach Invitational will be contested at Spanish Trail Country Club, where the Beach will be returning later this season as the hosts of the Big West Tournament in April. Getting another opportunity to play the course prior to the championship, Long Beach State will be turning to a veteran lineup to compete officially, however, all nine regular golfers will be participating in the event.
Seniors Holland Shourds, Maria Davis and Euna Pak will be joined by Hannah Ko and Las Vegas native Hunter Pate in the competition five, while Vanessa Richani, Morgan Polley, Chloe Carraway and Khameryn Utu will all participate as individuals.
The field will consist of 10 teams with USC, Gonzaga, UC Irvine, Colorado, Fresno State, New Mexico, Northern Arizona and BYU joining the two host teams at Spanish Trail. The tournament is set for 36 holes on Monday prior to a final round on Tuesday.
