Orsi Hertzka Selected As Honorable Mention All-America For Women's Water Polo

Freshman Orsi Hertzka scored 72 goals for Long Beach State in her first season, second-most in school history.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Freshman Orsi Hertzka was selected as Honorable Mention All-America, earning a spot among the nation's elite in her first season at Long Beach State. Hertzka becomes the first freshman at the Beach to earn All-America honors since Eirini Patras in 2017.
The award is just the latest in a shining season for Hertzka. The Hungarian native was placed onto the All-Freshman Big West team and also was named onto the First Team All-Big West squad. Adding on, Hertzka scored the second most goals in a single season in LBSU history with 72 total goals. The freshman also made 11 assists on the season as well as 24 total steals. Hertzka also ended her first season tied for second for most goals scored in a single game at LBSU with six goals.
The freshman phenom will look to build off a successful first year as she returns to the Beach next year.
