LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State will continue dual match play this week, hosting Weber State at Noon on Friday in the Rhodes Tennis Center before a rivalry match at Cal State Fullerton on Saturday.
Weber State (9-4) have been very busy and had better luck with the elements in the first half of the dual match season, playing 13 matches already and posting a 2-1 record in conference play. The Wildcats will also play UC Riverside on their trip to Southern California, as Long Beach State will finish three straight at home in the Rhodes Tennis Center Friday.
On Saturday, Long Beach State and Cal State Fullerton (4-2) are set to play their rescheduled match from March 2. The Beach is 3-0 in Big West play so far in 2019, while the Titans were 5-1 winners at home against UC Davis on February 17.
The Beach suffered their first loss of the season last week against San Diego 4-3, but rallied back and defeated Cal Poly for that third win in league competition.
