Women’s Golf Travels to South Carolina for Briar’s Creek Invitational

Long Beach State will be on the golf course for the second week in a row, playing in the Briar’s Creek Invitational in Johns Island, South Carolina. The Beach will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday at The Golf Club at Briar’s Creek.

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – Beach Women's Golf will play in the Briar's Creek Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in South Carolina, playing 36 holes on Monday followed by a final round on Tuesday at The Golf Club at Briar's Creek.

The event is being hosted by the College of Charleston, and there are 17 teams participating in the seventh edition of the annual tournament. Joining the Beach and the hosts will be Boston College, Campbell, Charleston Southern, No. 22 Clemson, East Carolina, No. 20 Furman, Georgetown, Illinois, Kansas, No. 23 Michigan State, Middle Tennessee, Old Dominion, Penn State, and UNC Asheville.

LBSU's lineup this week will feature junior Maria Davis at the top, joined by senior Cara Barker, junior Euna Pak, junior Holland Shourds and senior Haley Tygret.

Action begins with a 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT shotgun start on Monday and will conclude with an 8:45 a.m. ET/5:45 a.m. PT shotgun start Tuesday morning. Live scoring for the event will be provided via GolfStat.com.
