Women’s Golf Heads to Arizona for Wildcat Invitational

Coming off a third place finish at The Gold Rush at the end of February, Beach Women’s Golf is back out on the course this Monday and Tuesday in Tucson, Ariz. for the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona at Sewailo Golf Club.
TUCSON, Ariz. – Long Beach State women's golf is out in Arizona for the Wildcat Invitational, running Monday and Tuesday at Sewailo Golf Club. The Beach took third place at The Gold Rush in their last action and will look for another strong finish against a national field.
LBSU will go up against the host Arizona Wildcats, along with schools like Arizona State, Denver, Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Northern Arizona, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oregon, Oregon State, Purdue, San Diego State and UNLV.
The Beach will feature a lineup of junior Maria Davis, freshman Hannah Ko, senior Cara Barker, senior Haley Tygret and junior Holland Shourds. There will be a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday, kicking off the first 36 holes of play. Tuesday's final round will commence with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
