Women’s Golf Returns To Action At Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational In Washington

The Beach will compete Tuesday and Wednesday in Sammamish.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State returns to action this weekend, participating again in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational hosted by Washington starting on Tuesday, October 8.
The Beach will be competing as a team again, joining a strong field in Sammamish, Wash. that includes the host Huskies, a pair of Big West schools in Cal Poly and UC Davis, as well as Idaho, Nebraska and BYU among others.
Long Beach State will be led by senior Holland Shourds, who has led the team in both tournament she's competed in so far this season. She'll be joined by one other senior in the lineup in Euna Pak.
Sophomore Hannah Ko shared in the team lead at the Couer d'Alene Resort Invitational, and will once again take part in the lineup as well fellow sophomore Hunter Pate.
Rounding out the lineup is freshman Vanessa Richiani, who will make her team debut Tuesday. Richiani had a strong weekend as an individual at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate, finishing in the Top 5 to help earn her spot in the lineup.
Held at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash., the 2019 Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational is scheduled for 36 rounds on Tuesday, October 8 before a final round on Wednesday, October 9. Live scoring for the tournament will be available at http://www.golfstat.com.
