No. 8 Long Beach State Visits No. 2 UCLA On Friday

LBSU looks to upset No. 2 UCLA on Friday night in Los Angeles, Calif.

LONG BEACH, Calif.—No. 8 Long Beach State will travel to Los Angeles on Friday to take on No. 2 UCLA (9-1). The Bruins and the Beach are set to play at 7 p.m. at the Spieker Aquatics Center.    
    
    Long Beach State returns to the Spieker Aquatics Center after playing four teams in the top ten at the MPSF SoCal Tournament. Rafael Real Vergara made his season debut leading the Beach with 16 goals, two assists and nine drawn exclusions.  

    The Beach is led by Senior Austin Stewart who tops all players with 44 goals, 15 assists and 23 steals. Stewart also leads the GCC in steals and comes in second for goals. Marwan Darwish leads the league in saves with 133 on the season.

    The Bruins are coming off the MPSF SoCal Title Game loss against No. 3 Stanford. They are led by Ashworth Molthen who has scored 22 goals and Jake Cavano who has 20 goals on the season.
