Junior Holland Shourds led Long Beach State with a 2-over 73 during Tuesday’s final round of the Coeur D’Alene Resort Collegiate in Idaho.

COEUR D'ALENE, ID -- The final round of the Coeur D'Alene Resort Collegiate took place on Tuesday at the Coeur D'Alene Resort Golf Course, with Long Beach State finishing in a tie for seventh place at the tournament.

Junior Holland Shourds had the best round of the day for the Beach, shooting a 2-over round of 73 in the final round. Her combined score of 221 for the tournament put her second on the team and in a tie for 32^nd overall. After starting her day with a bogey on the 6^th hole, Shourds posted a pair of birdies and six pars over her next eight holes to sit 1-under through the first half of her round.

For the second straight tournament, freshman Hunter Pate posted the best number for the week. Her score of 6-over 219 put her in a tie for 25^th place overall.

Long Beach State will return to action in two weeks, beginning the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Wash.
