Beach Women’s Golf Begins Ihlanfeldt Invitational Tuesday

Long Beach State will play its third tournament of the season this week in Washington, with the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday, Oct. 8 - First & Second Rounds, 8 a.m. (PT) tee times
Wednesday, Oct. 9 - Final Round, 8 a.m. (PT) tee times
Women's golf will compete in the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational this week in Sammamish, Wash., hosted by the University of Washington. The 12-team tournament will open with the first two rounds of play on Tuesday, starting at 8 a.m.
The Beach will be grouped with Seattle and San Francisco, starting on the 10th hole. Other teams competing in the event will be the host Huskies, UC Davis, Pepperdine, Iowa, BYU, Oregon State, Georgetown, Rutgers, and Hawai'i.
This is the first time Long Beach State has competed in this event since the 2013-14 season. Freshman Hunter Pate will look to continue her solid play after being Long Beach's top finisher in each of the first two tournaments to start her college career. LBSU is coming off a seventh place finish at the 18-team Coeur d'Alene Collegiate in Idaho two weeks ago.
