The Beach Prepares For Match Against No. 4 UCLA

Long Beach, Calif. — Finishing off its 2-game road trip, No. 14 Long Beach State will be back in the pool this weekend when it travels to Los Angeles to face No. 4 UCLA Saturday at 3 p.m.
In two games last week, Eirini Patras tallied 19 saves while the Beach (9-10, 1-1 Big West) split its games against Bucknell and No. 10 UC Davis.
UCLA (18-3, 1-1 PAC-12) is currently on a 2-game winning streak after picking up wins against Pacific and San Jose State.
The Bruins are led by Maddie Musselman who has scored 33 goals and dished out 21 assists.
Leading the Beach this season is senior Alexandra Massier who leads LBSU in scoring with 27 goals. Along with Massier, Virginia Smith and Marilia Eleni Mimidi have scored 20 and 22 goals respectively.
