Long Beach, Calif. -

Long Beach State will play host at the LBSU Sand Courts for the final time this season on Tuesday, as No. 2 Pepperdine will play the Beach at 1 p.m.
No. 6 Long Beach State (9-9) will still be hunting for a signature win, as the 49ers, despite their .500 mark, have not lost this season to a team outside of the Top 5 in dual match play. LBSU has lost twice this season to Pepperdine (15-3) losing in two tournaments at the Pepperdine Invitational and at the USAV Collegiate Challenge.
Following the home finale, Long Beach State will hit the road, traveling to Honolulu to participate in the Outrigger Resorts Aloha Invitational in Hawaii.
Long Beach State is the defending champions of the Aloha Invitational, and will be looking for a strong performance as a final tune-up in advance of the Big West Championships, which Long Beach State will be hosting in Huntington Beach on April 29 and 30.
The tournament will feature both dual match and pairs play. Long Beach State's Kobi Pekich and Sammee Thomas have the strongest record this season in individual play, posting a 3-0 record and capturing the Silver Bracket championship at the USAV Collegiate Challenge earlier this season at Hermosa Beach.
Four teams ranked in the Top 10 are participating in the Aloha Invitational, including the hosts, No. 5 Hawai'i, No. 1 USC, and No. 9 Florida International. Three more teams fill the field in Louisiana-Monroe, Grand Canyon and Washington.
