Beach Water Polo Travels To Pomona For Claremont Convergence

Long Beach, Calif. - Women's water polo will travel to Pomona this Saturday to play Chapman and Redlands at the Claremont Convergence Tournament. Long Beach State will start the weekend with the Chapman at 11:40 a.m. at the Pomona-Pitzer Haldeman Pool. The Beach will then play the University of Redlands Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m.
LBSU is lead by senior Justine Morgan, who has 17 goals and junior Christina Kotsia with 16 goals. Freshman goalie Mimi Harris recieved Big West Player of the Week Honors this week for her defensive efforts against No. 20 UC San Diego and No. 12 San Diego State.
