49ers softball team opens fall season Oct. 15

LONG BEACH, Calif. - The Long Beach State softball team will play nine games during its fall schedule with six games in October and three games in November, including the annual Alumni Game on homecoming on Nov. 13.

The Beach will open the fall schedule on Friday, Oct. 15, and then play seven more games over the next 23 days before finishing with the Alumni Game. Every fall game will be played at home at the 49er Softball Complex.

Listed below is a rundown of the 49ers fall schedule.

Oct. 15 vs. Cerritos (2 p.m.)

Oct. 16 vs. Mesa Junior College (11 a.m.)

Oct. 20 vs. Santa Ana Junior College (2 p.m.)

Oct. 22 vs. Cypress Junior College (2 p.m.)

Oct. 27 vs. Fullerton Junior College (2 p.m.)

Oct. 29 vs. Mt. Sac Junior College (2 p.m.)

Nov. 6 vs. Loyola Marymount (10 a.m.)

Nov. 6 vs. San Marcos (2 p.m.)

Nov. 13 Alumni Game (Noon)
