LBSU travels to Dallas for Royal Oaks Intercollegiate

LONG BEACH - The Long Beach State men's golf team travels to the Lone Star state for the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate hosted by Baylor University. The two-day, 54-hole tournament will take place at the par-71, 7,068-yard Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, Texas.
Opening round play will begin with a shotgun start at 6:30 a.m. (PST) on Monday (Nov. 1), followed immediately by the second round. Final round action will begin with tee times at 6:30 a.m. (PST) on Monday (Nov. 2).
Junior Austin Love and sophomores Kevin Lim, Raymond Ho, Benjamin Lein and Philip Chian will represent the 49ers as they go up against 11 other teams that features Arkansas, Baylor, Iowa, Lamar, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Penn State, SMU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and UNLV.
LBSU has been off for the past two-and-half weeks, last playing at The Prestige at PGA WEST in La Quinta. The 49ers finished in 14th place in the 15-team field, scoring a 37-over par 901. Lim was the top player for The Beach, tying for 26th with a 7-over 223.
There will be no live scoring from the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate. Results will be posted on golfstat.com and at longbeachstate.com.
