Carly Harris wins Nike Women's San Francisco Half Marathon

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Former 49er and current Long Beach State volunteer assistant coach Carly Harris won the Nike Women's San Francisco Half Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 17.
Harris finished ahead of the pack at 1:20.45. The Chico, Calif., native lettered two years in both cross country and track & field at The Beach after competing in both sports at Santa Barbara City College for two years.
Harris left LBSU as the outdoor school record holder in the 3000-meter steeplechase (10:28.31) and the indoor record holder in the 3000m run (9:37.57). She also ranks among the all-time top five in the 5000m, 1500m and the mile run.
A multiple All-Big West performer, Harris graduated from Long Beach State with a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2009.
