Wensman Scores Five as Second Half Rally Comes Up Short
UCD went up 8-1 at the half, before the 49ers scored five of the next seven goals to close to within 10-5. The Aggies would then score three more times to lead 13-5, before another rally cut the defecit to 13-8 on Megan Winchell's lone score with 5:10 remaining in the contest. In a busy week for the 49ers, LBSU hosts Brown on Tuesday, are at Loyola Marymount on Thursday and at USC on Saturday. LBSU remained without starters Marina and Cecilia Canetti, who play New Zealand on March 27 as part of the World Championships in Australia. |
