49ers Cruise by Pacific 15-7
LONG BEACH, CA-- Long Beach State (6-5, 2-1 MPSF) cruised by visiting Pacific (5-10, 0-6 MPSF) on Saturday afternoon, 15-7, paced by three goals a piece from Branwyn Lee and Marina Canetti as 10 players scored for the 49ers. The Beach jumped out to a 4-2 lead after the first period and led 8-4 at the half paced by three goals by Canetti. LBSU put the game out of reach early in the second period as Canetti's two gaols in the second period, the final one at 3:33, gave the 49ers a 7-2 advantage. The 49ers went up 12-4 with 2:33 in the third on Lee's second of three scores in the third period. The Beach play No. 4-ranked California at noon on Sunday |
