Corbian was rated as the 12th-best prep out of high school in the 800-meter and followed that up with two successful seasons at Pasadena City College. His time of 1:51.19 during the 2003 track season was ranked 12th nationally amongst high school athletes. Cobian is the10th athlete to sign with distance coach Matt Roe, who was hired in late August to take over the program. Earlier this year, the program gained three of the state's top prep runners on the men's side, and two of the top junior college harriers and another all-state performer on the women's side. |
