Trio Named All-Americans Stewart, Garcia and Richardson Led Beach to Best Season Ever NORRISTOWN, PA-- Long Beach State's Roberta Stewart (Auckland, NZ), Angelica Garcia (Catano, PR) and Ashley Richardson (San Diego) all earned All-America consideration, annouced today by the Collegiate Water Polo Association. Stewart, who led The Beach with 48 goals, earned her second straight first team All-America honor. Garcia, who tallied 38 goals this year, earned third team status for the second time in her career, after being named honorable mention last season. For Richardson, who will graduate as the all-time leading scorer with 184 goals, she was named honorable mention for the second consecutive season. The 49ers finished off their best season ever this past year, setting numerous school-record on its way to a 24-8 season, third place finish in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and a No. 4 national ranking.
