LBSU Defeats LMU 24-31 in Dual Meet
Matt Bates Wins Dual Meet

BREA, CA-- Matt Bates won the men's three-mile dual meet with visiting Loyola Marymount as the Long Beach State men defeated the Lions 24-31 in a rescheduled race on Friday. Bates ran a 17:58 three-mile time, while teammate Kenny Lawrence finished second with a time of 17:59. Bernie Ochoa was the top Lion with a time of 18:02.
