Katie Card Neidermire returns for her fifth season with the program, serving as an assistant coach for the Beach.
 
Card Neidermire has extensive playing and coaching experience which helps the program with player development. After four years of playing water polo at Cal, where she earned Honorable Mention All-America, Card Neidermire played professionally in Australia with the St. George Dragons.
 
Turning to coaching, Card Neidermire got started in the high school ranks with Miramonte High School, and then spent five seasons at Michigan as an assistant coach from 2007 to 2012, leading the Wolverines to three NCAA Tournament appearances over that period. While at Michigan, the Wolverines set school records in both wins and winning percentage.
 
Internationally, Card Neidermire has worked as an assistant coach with USA Water Polo for multiple cycles, including coaching with the Youth National Team from 2014-16 and leading the team to a UANA gold medal in 2014.
