In five years at the Beach, Camacho has helped Long Beach State reach the Big West Tournament in each year with three appearances in the quarterfinals during the 2018-19, 2020-21, and 2021-22 seasons. King went on to be named to the Big West Conference All-Second Team selection on two occasions, a two-time All-Defensive Team player, as well as All-Big West First Team selection, while Utti garnered All-First Team accolades.
Camacho was also a key component in Ma’Qhi Berry and Patricia Chung being named to the 2020-21 All-Defensive and All-Freshman Teams, respectively. In 2018-19, Naomi Hunt and Shanaijah Davison earned All-Big West honors as Hunt collected second team accolades and Davison was an honorable mention selection under Camacho’s tutelage.
Before coming to the Beach, Camacho spent six seasons as the girls’ basketball head coach at Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, where he compiled a 165-44 overall record while leading the team to six straight CIF Tournament appearances as well as five Mission League titles.

Under his tutelage, Bellarmine-Jefferson made a 2010 California State Tournament appearance and won the Santa Cruz League Championship on three separate occasions (2008, 2009, and 2010).
