Kennan Ka Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

Long Beach State team captain and MBA student posts perfect 4.00 GPA while leading the Beach on and off the court
LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Long Beach State senior forward and team captain Kennan Ka has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team, recognizing her outstanding achievements in both the classroom and in competition.
A graduate student pursuing her MBA, Ka has maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA while serving as a central leader for the Beach, starting all 30 games this season and emerging as a key contributor on both ends of the floor. Over the course of her career, Ka has appeared in 85 games with 31 starts, totaling 295 points, 169 rebounds, 94 assists, and 31 steals, highlighted by a strong senior campaign in which she averaged 6.8 points per game and provided steady leadership and versatility. Ka was also honored as the Kay Yow Servant Leader Award recipient for the 2025-26 season.
The CSC Academic All-District honor recognizes student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically, requiring a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and significant on-court contribution. Ka's selection reflects her commitment to excellence, consistency, and leadership, representing Long Beach State with distinction in every facet of the student-athlete experience.
