The schedule features 16 home games in Head Coach Minyon Moore’s first campaign
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Women's Basketball announced its 2026-27 schedule Monday afternoon, featuring 16 home contests at the LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid.
The season begins Thursday, November 5, as Minyon Moore's squad travels to Cal for her first game as head coach of the Beach. Long Beach State will then return home to host Santa Clara on November 9 for its home opener.
From there, the Beach hit the road for contests at Portland, San Francisco and San Jose State before closing out the month with a home matchup against Hope International.
Week 0 of the Big West slate will see the Beach visit Utah Valley on December 3 and welcome Cal State Fullerton to Long Beach on December 5.
Long Beach State closes out non-conference play with three-straight home games, including a December 13 matchup against LMU, the 2026 West Coast Conference regular season champions.
Conference play tips off on New Years Eve, with the Beach traveling to UC Irvine for the first edition of the Black and Blue Rivalry. Long Beach State then heads to UC San Diego to close out the opening weekend of conference action.
League play continues through the beginning of March, highlighted by a key home weekend in January. Long Beach State will host the defending Big West Tournament champions UC San Diego on January 21 before welcoming the 2026 Big West regular season champions UC Irvine to Long Beach on January 23.
The Beach finish the regular season with a pair of road contests, visiting UC Riverside on March 4 and California Baptist on March 6.
The Big West Championship will once again be held in Henderson, starting on March 10 for four days of exciting action from Lee's Family Forum in Nevada.
