JaQuoia Jones-Brown Named All-Big West Honorable Mention

Jones-Brown earns All-Big West selection after leading the Beach in scoring and rebounding.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Big West announced its 2025-26 All-Big West teams for women's basketball, and Long Beach State sophomore guard JaQuoia Jones-Brown was recognized as an All-Big West honorable mention following an outstanding season for the Beach.
Jones-Brown was the offensive catalyst for Long Beach State throughout the 2025-26 campaign, appearing and in starting 29 of the Beach's 30 games this season while averaging a team-best 17.6 points per game. She ranked third in the conference in scoring and was one of the league's most consistent performers, logging a conference-high 37.4 minutes per game.
A two-way presence on the perimeter, Jones-Brown shot .421 from the field and .328 from three-point range, while converting .824 at the free throw line, which ranked sixth in the Big West. She totaled 509 points on the year, adding 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. Her 195 total rebounds also led the Beach.
Jones-Brown recorded five double-doubles during the season, highlighted by a 23-point, 17-rebound performance in an early nonconference win over Hope International. She posted 11 games of 20 or more points, including a career and season-high 29 points on two occasions. Among her top outings in Big West play were 29 points in a 75-72 win over UC Riverside and 28 points in a 67-57 victory over Cal Poly.
Her all-around impact extended beyond scoring, as she ranked among the conference leaders in minutes played and defensive rebounding, finishing eighth in the Big West in defensive boards per game.
With her selection, Jones-Brown is the Beach's representative on the 2025-26 All-Big West Team, earning the second All-Big West honor of her collegiate career, after earning a spot on the All-Freshman team last year.
