Long Beach State Top 10 -- Pentathlon (4,834, 6th)
2012 (Senior)
Outdoor: Finished fourth (6,541) in the decathlon and eighth in the javelin at the Big West Championships ... Recorded career-bests in the 100m (11.61) and long jump (21-8) during the Big West Multis.
Indoor: Competed in two indoor meets, the Air Force Team Challenge and Run for the Dream ... Second in the long jump at the Run for the Dream.
2011 (Junior)
Outdoor: Tied for eighth in the pole vault with a season-best 15-3 1/2 and placed ninth in the javelin (168-0) at the Big West Championships ... Also finished fifth overall in the decathlon at the conference meet ... Had top five showings in the 1500m, high jump, pole vault, discus and javelin for a lifetime-best 6,690 points at the Big West's for the 10th-best in school history.
Indoor: Racked up 4,834 points to finish 10th at the MPSF Championships ... His score was the third-best in school history upon the completion of the meet.
Prior to LBSU:Â Was the Southern California Community College champion in the decathlon with 6,332 points in 2010 for Mt. SAC ... Was the runner-up as a freshman ... Also finished fifth at the state championships both years.
High School: Three-year letter winner in track and field at Villa Park High School ... Also competed one year in cross country.
