Outdoor: Won the Big West shot put title with a career-best toss of 57-4 1/4 ... Earned All-Conference honors in the discus with a runner-up finish (174-5) ... Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in both the shot and the discus ... Won the discus at the Beach Invitational with a career-best 185-4 ... Won the discus (179-7) at the Cal/Nevada Championships ... Was second in the shot at the Ben Brown Invitational ... Won the shot and the discus at the season-opening Riverside City College Dual.
