2016 (R-Junior): Appeared in two games, throwing 1/3 of an inning.

2015 (R-Sophomore): Did not allow an earned run over 11 relief appearances that spanned 6.2 innings ... recorded five strikeouts while walking only one ... pitched a full inning against San Diego State (3/10), allowing only one hit and an unearned run ... struck out the only batter he faced at UNLV (5/5) ... made an appearance in every game of the final series at Cal State Fullerton ... pitched a full scoreless inning on May 21 and May 22 ... got an inning-ending double play ball in both innings.

Prior to LBSU: Did not play as a sophomore in 2014 at Palomar College ... selected the All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference first team as a freshman in 2013 ... went 6-1 on the mound in seven starts with a 1.07 ERA ... struck out 33 batters in 59 innings while issuing just nine walks ... helped his team into the CCCAA Super Regionals, throwing a complete game in the tournament ... also hit .267 with one home run and seven RBI in 60 at-bats.

High School: A first-team All-Avocado League selection as a senior for Fallbrook Union High School ... had an outstanding year at the plate with a .409 batting average and 24 RBI ... went 3-5 on the mound with a 4.07 ERA while recording 41 strikeouts over 55 innings.

Personal: Son of Mike and Christy and comes from a baseball family ... his uncle, Glen Berberet, played baseball at LBSU in 1979-80, another uncle, Chris Smith, played at UCLA, while his father, Mike, played at Loyola Marymount from 1976-80 ... his cousin, Parker Berberet, played for Oregon State and is currently in Double-A in the Milwaukee Brewers organization ... cousin Nicole Berberet was a walk-on point guard on the 2006-07 USC women's basketball team ... also related to Lou Berberet, a Major League catcher with the Yankees, Senators, Red Sox and Tigers from 1954-60 ... enjoys surfing and working on cars ... majoring in political science.
