2003 (Junior): Battled through a groin injury to appear in 43 games and 36 starts, 20 in left, eight in center and eight at designated hitter... batted .303 with 26 runs and 17 RBI... co-team leader with four triples, also had five doubles... one of team’s top bunters had eight sacrifice bunts... 14 multi-hit games... drove in three runs against Miami on May 24 with a two-run double and a fielder’s choice... had an RBI double and two singles in a 3-for-3 afternoon at Pacific on May 3... also went 3-for-3 with a bunt single, walk and hit by pitch against LMU on April 1... went 2-for-4 with a two run single at San Diego State on March 12... went 3-for-3 with two runs, a walk and a hit by pitch against San Diego State on March 4... had an RBI triple and two runs against LSU on February 28... went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI double as part of a five-run inning against USC on February 7... went 2-for-4 with two runs, throwing out a runner at the plate in season opener against Arizona State.... went 2-for-4 with a triple against CS Northridge on April 5.
Prior to LBSU: All-American, All-State and Conference MVP at Grossmont College as a sophomore... led the Pacific Coast Conference in four major offensive categories including: batting with a .431 average, hits (85), runs (56) and RBI (41)... also had 10 doubles, seven triples and seven homers... second in the conference in both triples and homers... his 10 steals were fourth... third in the PCC in walks with 24... the seven triples in 2002 were a school-record... batted a PCC-best .463 in conference games... batted .287 with 33 runs and 18 RBI as a freshman... had five doubles, three triples, eight steals and two homers his first season... played for the Catham Athletics in the Cape Code League in the summer before his junior season at LBSU.
High School: Two sport athlete at Patrick Henry HS... lettered four years in baseball and three years in football... three-time All-Eastern League in baseball, all-league at quarterback as a senior.
