2008 (Senior): Drafted in the 18th round by the Seattle Mariners ... Started 43-of-46 appearances, hitting .253 ... Drove in 10 runs ... Scored 19 runs and smacked eight doubles and one triple ... Posted a .327 on-base and a .320 slugging percentage ... Ended his LBSU career by throwing 43-percent of the runners attempting to steal ... 

MLB/Summer League: Drafted in the 43rd round by the Indians in the 2007 draft... named the top defensive catcher in Northwoods League during Summer, 2005 while playing for the Mankato (Minn) Moondogs.

2007 (Junior): Named first-team All-Conference following 35 starts at catcher and a .283 batting average with 20 runs and 24 RBIs... had nine doubles and two homers, but hit .406 in Big West contests to earn his first post-season honor... eight multi-hit games... threw out 18-of-44 would-be runners (44 percent)... went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, including a two-run homer, an RBI double and RBI single against CS Northridge and raised his averaged 67 points following a 5-for-11 series against the Matadors... had two, two-hit games at Pacific in late April... had a three-run double as part of a two, two-hit days against Cal Poly in early May... went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and threw out two runns at CS Fullerton on May 26... had three RBI against the Titans the next day... had the game-winning two-run single in the ninth at Arizona State on March 10.... had a 11-game hit streak to end the regular season, driving in nine over the last six games.

Prior to LBSU: Defensive stalwart behind the plate for the University of California from 2005-06, threw out 16-of-35 (46%) over two years at Cal... over 54 games and 41 starts batted .196 with a much stronger .292 on-base percentage thanks to 20 walks over two seasons... batted .203 over 26 games with two passed balls and threw out 7-of-14 would-be base stealers in 2006... batted .188 over 28 games and had two passed balls and threw out nine-of-21 base stealers in 2005

High School: Batted .506 with a school-record 10 homers and a .933 slugging percentage as a senior at Los Gatos High earning all-league and all-state honors... named the 2003 De Anza League MVP and to the San Jose Mercury News Central Coast first team... named Los Gatos' High's Athlete of the Year... named all-state honorable mention and first team all-league as a linebacker and fullback as well.
