2009 (Junior): Started 52 games for Long Beach State in a breakout season ... Played primarily in right field, but also started at second base six times, filling in for a banged-up Derek Legg ... Batted cleanup a team-high 28 times ... Slugged a team-high .551 with six home runs, seven triples, 12 doubles and 46 RBI, all team-highs ... His seven triples ranked 10th nationally ... It also ranks third in the Dirtbag record books for a single season ... Walked 27 times and led the Dirtbags with a .416 on-base percentage ... second on the team with a .316 average and 58 RBI ... 2007 (Freshman): Honorable mention All-Big West at outfielder after batting .389 in league contests with 20 of his 33 walks ... Overall batted .296 with 34 runs and eight RBIs for a team-high .468 on-base percentage ... Had eight doubles and three triples over 43 games and 32 starts, 27 in left field and five in right field ... Had 10 multi-hit games ... Had 12 walks from April 1 to April 15 ... Overtook team lead in walks on April 17 playing in 10 less games than Robert Perry ... Began starting the latter part of March after being converted from a prep infielder ...
