PRIOR TO LBSU: Played for the Texas Tech in 2003… Ranked fifth on Texas Tech in batting at .321 with 44 runs, 11 doubles and 38 RBI… Third on team in walks (29) and fielded at a .988 clip… second on the team with 67 hits… Texas Tech went 30-25, missing the NCAAs for the first time in nine years ... Honorable mention All-League in both 2001 and 2002 for Cerritos College… Batted .312 with 35 runs, 44 hits, 30 RBI, five doubles and 16 steals as a sophomore, ranking fifth in the league in steals and 12th in the league in RBI… Team reached the first round of the state playoffs both seasons for Coach Ken Gaylord.
