2005 (Junior): Started 48 of 49 games, batting.299 with 26 runs and tied with a team-best 30 RBIs... led the team in doubles, ranking 10th in the Big West and had three home runs for a .431 slugging percentage... started 41 games in center and seven at designated hitter... produced the second-longest hit streak in school-history, at 27 games from March 19 to May 13, watching his average raise from .250 to .321, batting .351 with a .505 slugging percentage over that stretch ... missed three weeks of the year with a hamstring injury suffered in season opener... pinch-hit on February 20, started at designated hitter on Feb. 26 for the next seven games and in center from March 11... had 15 multi-hit games on the season, including a 4-for-4 day against Baylor on March 5 when he hit a two-run double... went 2-for-5 with a homer and a two-run double against UC Irvine on April 10... hit a two-run homer at UC Santa Barbara on May 5... had a two-run double and an RBI single as part of a three RBI day at Pacific on April 23... hit a solo homer in the first round of the NCAA Regional at Blair Field against Rhode Island ... 2004 (Sophomore): Came on late in the season after missing 22 games with an elbow injury in pre-game warmups against USC... named All-Regional Tournament after batting .600 at the Palo Alto Regional... batted .330 overall with 10 runs and 23 RBI, playing in 30 games with 23 starts... had five doubles and three homers for a .470 slugging percentage... had 11 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games... started 18 games in right field, one in centerfield and four at designated hitter... in his first game back after injury, went 1-for-4 with an RBI single at UC Irvine on March 28.. . had a pitch-hit homer at CS Northridge on April 9 as part of a 2-for-2 afternoon... had a grand slam against CS Fullerton on May 23, going 3-for-5 with four RBI... had a two-run homer at Stanford to eliminate the Cardinal, going 3-for-3 on the day... drove in two runs in the Super Regional game against Arizona on June 12 with a sacrifice fly and an RBI single... had two hits the next day, going 2-for-6... had a three-run double and an RBI single from the leadoff spot at Cal Poly on April 24, going 3-for-5 with four RBI... played his first game in the outfield since the opening weekend starting on May 4.

High School: Three-year letterman in baseball at Trabuco Hills High School for Coach Tim Ellis... Orange County Player of the Year as a senior, earning first team all-county and first team all-league honors... batted .450 with a county-leading 13 homers... set a school-record with those 13 homers, and left as the THHS record holder with 23 career longballs... named first team all-county, second team all-league and the offensive player of the year as a junior... also set the school-record with 42 RBIs... team reached CIF semifinals.
Personal: Son of Cyndi and Bob Boatright... father, Bob, played basketball and football at Long Beach State... majoring in kinesiology.
