Summer League/MLB: Pitched for the Glacier Pilots in the Alaska Summer League in 2004 ... Appeared in 13 games over 21 innings, giving up 19 hits ...Produced a 2-0 record and a 3.43 ERA.
2004 (Sophomore): Made eight relief appearances, going 1-1 by hurling 12 innings for a 6.00 ERA ... His first appearance in more than a year was a shutout inning against the Wichita State on Mar. 24 ... Produced a 1.59 ERA over his first five appearances ... Pitched four innings at Pepperdine on May 4 to pick up his only win, tiring in the fourth, giving up two of his four hits ... Took the loss at UC Riverside, giving up the gamewinning home run in the seventh, then struck out three of four.
Prior to LBSU; Sat out the 2003 season at Sacramento City College, due to elbow surgery, playing the 2002 season, after redshirting in 2001… Compiled a 3-1 record with one save over 47 innings, producing a 3.83 ERA… Team reached the CCCAA Final Four in 2002, placing second.
