Prior to LBSU: Spent two seasons with the College of the Seqouias as a two-way utility player … As a freshman in 2017, played 33 games in the field, hitting .275 with 15 runs scored and 11 RBI in 80 at-bats … Also made 19 appearances on the mound that season with 14 starts … Went 6-4 in 2017 with one complete game and three saves, posting a 3.62 ERA in 87.0 innings … Was used primarily on the mound in 2018, making 14 of his 16 appearances as a starter … Went 6-5 with a 3.07 ERA as a sophomore, tossing 93.2 innings … Earned first-team All-Central Valley Conference honors in 2018 after being named honorable mention All-Conference in 2017.

High School: Was a three-year varsity contributor for Tehachapi High School… A .441 career hitter, posting a .478 batting average as a senior with 19 doubles, two triples and four home runs in 32 games played that season … Also stole 66 bases in 72 attempts over his three varsity seasons … During his senior season in 2016, made 11 starts going 8-3 with a 0.75 ERA, striking out 80 batters in 74.1 innings … Led Tehachapi two a pair of South Yosemite League titles in 2015 and 2016 and a CIF Championship appearance in 2016 as a senior.
