2008 (Junior): Played in 34 games, starting 24 ... used primarily as a DH and a pinch hitter earlier in the season, made the first of nine starts at third base against Pacific on April 26 ... hit .260, third among returning players with more than 60 at-bats ... hit seven doubles and two home runs in just 76 at-bats on the year ... slugged .434 ... had an OBP of .411, one of three players on the team over .400 ... went one-for-two in consecutive games against Wichita State, scoring two runs in each contest (3/1, 3/2) ... went three-for-five with two runs scored against Pacific (4/26) ... set a career high with four hits the following day, driving in two runs with two doubles against the Tigers (4/27) ... went two-for-three with a triple in the series finale with UC Davis (5/4).
Prior to LBSU: Named the Coast South Player of the Year out of Chabot College and was a Northern California Junior College All-American in 2007 after being a first team selection as an infielder in 2006... was also named Northern California's co-Player of the Year with Fresno City's Jameson Smith... as a sophomore batted .396 with a .637 slugging percentage thanks to a team-best 14 doubles, three triples and eight homers... scored 50 runs and drove in a team-high 54 runs... also had 20 stolen bases, never getting caught... broke the school's single-season record for hits... was hit 13 times and walked another 18 times to help produce a .477 on-base percentage... as a freshman batted led California in batting with a .438 average to go along with 57 runs and 53 RBI, producing a team-high 20 doubles and adding eight home runs for a .170 slugging percentage... had a .533 on-base average thanks to 25 walks... stole nine bases in 10 attempts ... drafted in the 38th round by the Oakland A's in 2006, and in the 30th round by the New York Mets in 2007.
High School: Four-year letterman in baseball at Castro Valley HS... named second team All-League in 2005 and the freshman of the year in 2002... batted .420 as a senior and .400 in 2003 and 2002.
