2022 (Senior): Named second-team All-Conference … Ended his Long Beach State career with his best season yet, posting a team-leading 1.99 ERA … Went 3-2 with four saves and was a part of four shutouts on the season … Led the team with 21 appearances, totaling 40.2 innings … Registered 39 strikeouts to just eight walks … Held opponents to a .197 average … Tossed a season-high four innings at UC Davis on May 26 … Best outing came on Mar. 4 against North Dakota State, where he retired all nine hitters he faced with six strikeouts.
2021 (Junior): Named second-team All-Conference … Made 13 appearances out of the bullpen, totaling 23.1 innings … Posted a 4.24 ERA while recording three saves … Notched 24 strikeouts while only walking three … Started the year with 6.1 scoreless innings across three outings and finished the year with 10 scoreless frames across his last five outings … Recorded three scoreless outings of three-plus innings, including a season-high five strikeouts in three innings at UC Riverside where he allowed just one single to record the save.
2020: 2020 season shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic (granted extra season of eligibility) … Made five relief appearances on the mound, posting a 1.50 ERA in 6.0 innings pitched ... Did not allow a run through his first four appearances, only allowing one earned run throughout the season … Started the season with a relief appearance at home and was perfect in his one inning of work against Cal in the series finale … Struck out two in an inning-long appearance against San Diego (Feb. 25) … Made a season-long appearance of 2.0 innings of hitless relief against Mississippi State, striking out a pair … Struck out two but allowed his first run and first hit of the season against Xavier … Finished the season with eight strikeouts and no walks.
2019 (Sophomore): Made five appearances and four starts on the mound before his season was ended prematurely due to injury … Started the season with a relief appearance at Florida (Feb. 17) and was dominant in 2.1 perfect innings, striking out a season-high four batters … Didn’t allow a run in his first two appearances, covering 6.0 innings with seven strikeouts … Made his first start of the season against Nevada (Feb. 22), tossing 3.2 scoreless frames.
2018 (Freshman): Missed the entire season due to injury.
2017 (Redshirt): Received a medical redshirt for the 2017 season … Made five appearances and two starts before his season was derailed by injury … Finished with a 2-0 record and a 3.31 ERA, covering 16.1 innings … Made his first appearance Feb. 18 at Oklahoma, tossing three innings of one-run ball in an 8-3 Dirtbags victory, picking up his first career win in relief … Made his first start on Feb. 26 against Fordham, allowing just one run in six innings to pick up his second career win and first at Blair Field.
High School: Spent three seasons on varsity playing for Lakewood High School ... Head Coach was Spud O'Neil ... played as an infielder and a pitcher, posting his best season as a senior in 2016 ... made nine starts in his final season, going 7-3 with a 1.20 ERA, striking out 64 batters in 58.1 innings pitched ... named to the first team of the 2016 Press-Telegram Dream Team ... also hit .333 with 36 runs scored, 17 RBI and 15 extra-base hits as a senior, including four home runs.
