Prior to LBSU: A CCCAA All-American outfielder who batted .363 as a sophomore with 40 runs, 10 doubles and 10 homers for Bakersfield College... also named first team All-Western State Conference and the Player of the Year... also earned All-Southern California honors... drove in 43 runs and had a .595 slugging percentage over 46 games... walked 22 times and stole 11 bases... as a freshman, was drafted in the 30th round of the 2005 draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers ... Was named second-team All-Conference, batting .313 with 11 doubles and six homers... had 25 RBI and 26 runs while producing a .528 slugging percentage... also stole seven bases... over two seasons, stole 18 of 25 bases.
