2016 (Junior): The situational lefty made 17 appearances out of the bullpen, working six innings with an ERA of just 1.50 ... 11 of the 18 outs he recorded were via strikeout ... struck out the side against Columbia on Mar. 20, which matched his longest outing of the year at one full inning ... made a pair of appearances at UC Davis (May 20, 22), working 1.2 innings with four strikeouts against the Aggies ... allowed no runs and just two hits over his final nine appearances of the season.
Prior to LBSU: Pitched two seasons out of the bullpen for the College of Southern Nevada, helping them to a Region 18 Tournament Championship in 2015 … went 3-1 with a 1.93 ERA in 16 appearances as a sophomore ... struck out better than a batter per inning during his career with a 2.2 strikeout-to-walk ratio … hit .324 as a sophomore with 14 stolen bases and 33 RBIs in 51 starts.
High School: Set the Arroyo Grande High School record for strikeouts including 96 K’s as a senior in 2013 … threw 78 innings that season with a 1.61 ERA … a two-time All-League selection for the Eagles, 1st team All-CIF as a junior and 3rd team All-State as a senior.
