2010 (Junior): Appeared in 43 games, starting 37 times ... Hit .264 with four home runs and 20 RBI ... Was third on the team in home runs ... Tied for the team lead in sacrifice hits (10) with Jonathan Jones ... Posted a .403 slugging and a .316 on-base percentage.

2009 (Sophomore): Long Beach State's starting centerfielder Casas played in 47 games, starting 45 ... Led the team with 22 stolen bases on the year ... That mark was third in the Big West, and ranked 76th in the nation ... Ranked 55th nationally with .46 stolen bases per game ... Fourth on the squad in hitting with a .308 average ... Also ranked nationally in strikeout ratio, going down on strikes in just 20 of 185 at-bats ... Spent most of the season near the top of the order ... A multi-hit machine with 20 two-hit games and one three-hit game, leading the team ... Had two hits in seven of eight games from Mar. 29 through Apr. 9 ... Had a career-high 3 RBI against Cal State Northridge on April 19 ... Had two stolen bases on two occasions (4/4, 4/17) ... Went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a homer short of the cycle in a win over Cal Poly on May 16.

2008 (Freshman): Played in 23 games, starting 11 ... Of those 11 starts, ten came in the outfield, and one at DH ... Started every game of the postseason in the outfield ... Rebounded from a slow start as a pinch hitter to finish the season hitting .302 ... Finished with three multi-hit games ... Set a career high with three hits against Cal Poly, going three-for-four with two RBI and a run scored (5/17) ... Had another big game against Oregon State, going three-for-five (5/19) ... Two-for-five with a run scored against Cal State Fullerton (5/25).

2007 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Long Beach State program.

High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball and football at Palma High School... Three-time All-League pick in baseball, earning All-County Team MVP honors as a senior ... Hit .426 with 14 runs and 11 RBI over 18 games as a senior with four triples and a .648 slugging percentage... Ran for 909 yards and eight touchdowns and threw for 1030 yards and 10 more TDs as a senior... Completed 64 percent of his passes ... Named the league Utility Player of the Year in 2005 after averaging 10 yards a carry for just over 800 yards and four TDs ... Twice named All-CIF ... Also named All-County both seasons and the county's MVP in 2006 ... Senior year also brought second team All-NorCal honors and third team All-CalHi Sports accolades as a quarterback, running back and kick returner ... Team won league all three years and the 2004 CIF sectional title.
