Had his best performance of the season in his collegiate debut at USC (Feb. 21), tossing seven scoreless innings while striking out six and allowing just six singles in the game ... Pitched 4.1 innings of relief at Stanford (Mar. 28) in his longest relief appearance of the season ... Threw 2.1 scoreless innings at Minnesota (May 13), allowing one hit and striking out a pair while finishing the game for the Beach.
High School: Played three seasons of varsity baseball for AB Miller High School and was a two-time first-team All-Citrus Belt League selection ... made eight appearances as a senior, posting a 4-2 record with a 1.37 ERA ... pitched 46 innings, allowing just 25 hits and 11 walks while striking out 40 batters ... was also a wide receiver on the football team his senior year.
