2019 (Junior): Selected in the 21st round of the MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox, 647th overall ... Posted a team-best 2.57 ERA in 22 appearances, striking out 25 batters in 28.0 total innings while recording a team-high four saves on the year.
2018 (Sophomore): Worked 26 games in relief, finishing second on the team in appearances on the mound … Posted a 3-2 record with a 4.54 ERA, collecting three saves while striking out 43 batters in 35.2 innings pitched … Recorded three strikeouts in back-to-back two-inning appearances, against Arizona State (Feb. 28) and Ole Miss (Mar. 3) … Struck out four batters in two scoreless innings at Texas A&M (Mar. 11) … Pitched a career-high 3.0 innings at USC on Apr. 24, collecting a career-best five strikeouts … Earned his first career save May 4 at UC Riverside, kicking off the first of three saves in the span of five days … Had his most impressive outing as a Dirtbag on May 8 at UCLA, entering the game with no outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, he protected a 5-1 lead by striking out the No. 3-5 batters for UCLA; all looking, on just 13 pitches to collect his third save.
