2005 (Freshman): One of the team's midweek starters appeared in 11 games with two starts, going 1-1 and compiling a 2.37 ERA over 19.0 innings... gave up 20 hits and struck out 13 and walked just five... part of a staff which led the nation in ERA (2.53) and produced the lowest ERA for the 49ers since 1956... opponents batted .278 against him... pitched three shutout innings at UC Santa Barbara on May 6, before giving up a solo homer in the eighth, going 3.2 innings, giving up one run and striking out two... hurled 4.0 scoreless innings and got the pre-determined win in his first career start against Loyola Marymount on March 8, striking out three and giving up just two hits... pitched a scoreless inning over San Diego State on February 27 and two scoreless innings at LMU on April 19.

High School: Lettered two years in baseball, earning all-league honors as a senior at pitcher and as the league’s offensive player of the year… batted .535 in 2004, producing a 1.29 ERA on the mound while producing a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage… went to the same high school as Major Leaguer Jermaine Dye.
