2010 (Junior): Chosen in the third round of the MLB Draft, 94th overall, by the Cincinnati Reds ... Named second-team All-Conference ... Was the first Dirtbag player since 1998 to hit over .400 for a season, finishing the 2010 campaign hitting .404, the ninth player in Long Beach State history to hit over .400 ... Posted 17 doubles, one triple, and one home run on the way to a team-high .550 slugging percentage.
2009 (Sophomore): The only player to play in all 54 games in 2009, starting 53 ... Made 51 starts at shortstop, and hit primarily in the three hole ... Led the squad in hits with 61 and OBP at .409 ... Also beaned a team-high 11 times ... Hit .307 with four home runs and 36 RBI ... 14-18 on stolen base attempts ... walked 24 times, second-most on the squad ... Made multi-hit games for five straight games from Feb. 22 to March 1 ... Hit .580 against California with three doubles ... Went 2-for-4 with three RBI at Wichita State (3/20) ... Had another big game against Cal, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two walks, three runs scored and a home run (4/1) ... 3-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and two RBI at Pacific (4/26) ...
