2021 (Senior): Appeared in 12 games, making six starts at catcher … Went 8-for-22 (.364) at the plate with a .500 OBP … Drove in three runs and scored three more … Posted three two-hit games, including a perfect 2-for-2 effort with a hit by pitch against CSU Bakersfield on May 16 … Went 2-for-3 with an RBI at Pacific on April 16.
2020: 2020 season shortened due to COVID-19 pandemic (granted extra season of eligibility) … Played in 11 games and made nine starts at catcher … Had a .207 batting average … Started the season opener behind the dish, with a double and a walk … Had a season-high two hits and two RBIs against Cal (Feb. 16) … An Academic All-Big West Honoree.
2019 (Junior): Played in 24 games and made 16 starts for the Dirtbags as a redshirt junior … Started 15 games behind the plate and one as DH … Had 10 hits including a double and a home run, and also drove in eight runs … Launched a solo home run at Ole Miss (Mar. 2) for his first career homer … Followed that up with a double and two RBIs against Michigan (Mar. 5) … Was instrumental in LBSU’s win at San Diego (Apr. 9) thanks to two hits and two RBIs.
2018 (Redshirt): Utilized a redshirt season due to injury.
Prior to LBSU: Played two seasons at Irvine Valley College, primarily as a catcher ... Named first-team All-Orange Empire Conference after his sophomore season in 2017, and also earned Male Scholar Athlete of the Year honors at IVC ... Had a breakout year as a sophomore, when he hit a team-best .368, scored 25 runs while driving in 21 more, and also collected three home runs ... He also led the team with a .425 on-base percentage.
High School: A two-year varsity letterwinner at Mission Viejo High School, winning a CIF Southern Section Division 2 title as a senior in 2015 ... Hit .269 as a senior with 18 runs scored, 15 RBIs and seven doubles in 36 games played ... Helped the Diablos to the 2015 CIF-SS Division 2 championship ... Also spent two years on varsity as a wrestler, qualifying for the 2014 CIF Duals competition.
