Selected in the 17th round of the MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers, 515th overall ... Named second-team All-American by D1Baseball.com and the NCBWA ... Chosen first-team All-Conference ... Led the Big West with 118 strikeouts on the mound ... Conversely, he was the toughest player in the nation to strike out, fanning just six times in 215 at-bats ... As a pitcher, he led the Dirtbags with a 1.99 ERA in 99.2 innings pitched ...Issued just 17 walks compared to his 118 strikeouts and opposing batters hit just .215 .. Won five Big West Pitcher of the Week awards and became the first player ever to win four straight ...  Became the first player in Big West history to be named Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week during the same season ... Had five starts with 10 or more K's, with a career high of 13 at UC Riverside on May 5 ... Was one of two Dirtbags to play in every game, and was second on the team with a .302 batting average ... Led the team with a .382 on-base percentage and five triples, and was second on the team in hits (65), runs (35), RBI (26), walks (25), and stolen bases (13).

Prior to LBSU: Played two years at Cabrillo College, helping the Seahawks to the 2016 Coast Pacific Conference title ... Named the 2016 Coast Pacific Conference Player of the Year after hitting .410 with a .461 OBP as a freshman, scoring 41 runs and stealing 17 bases ... Made 15 relief appearances, striking out 37 batters in just 19.1 innings ... Was also a 2016 ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove winner in the outfield ... Had another productive season as a sophomore in 2017, hitting .399 with a .483 OBP, collecting 39 runs and 21 RBI in 44 games played ... On the mound, made 21 relief appearances as a sophomore, recording a 0.91 ERA in 39.2 innings, striking out 69 batters while collecting nine saves .. selected in the 40th round of the 2017 MLB draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers but did not sign ... Played for Neptune Beach Pearl in the California Collegiate Baseball League in 2016, earning an All-Star Game nod, a spot on the All-League team, and the honor of the league's Best Defender by Perfect Game.

High School: A four-year varsity letterwinner for Maria Carrillo High School ... Had his most productive season as a senior in 2015, hitting .396 with 25 runs and 22 RBI in 26 games played, stealing nine bases and drawing 11 walks with just one strikeout ... Also made 13 appearances on the mound as a senior, posting a 0.58 ERA with an impressive 77 strikeouts in 48.2 innings while allowing just 22 hits and 12 walks ... Named the 2015 All-Empire Large-School Player of the Year by the Santa Rosa Press Democrat ... Also the 2015 North Bay League Player of the Year ... Member of the 2015 CalHiSports All-State Baseball Team ... batted .396 in 2015 ... Was also a three-year letterwinner in basketball.
