2008 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Long Beach State program.

Prior to LBSU: Named first team All-Coast North out of Canada College in 2006 and 2007... Named All-State in 2007.... over 17 games and 14 starts went 7-4 with two saves, producing a 2.81 ERA over 105.2 innings ... Struck out 127 and walked 24, while giving up just 76 hits... In 2006 over 17 games and 15 starts, went 7-6 with one save over 102.2 innings as the runner-up to Coast Pitcher of the Year... Produced a 3.77 ERA, striking out 100 and walking 37... gave up 92 hits.... The 2007 team qualified for the state playoffs for the first time since 2000.

High School: Two-year letterman in baseball at Junipero Serra HS in San Mateo... named All-League and All-County as a senior as well as the team's MVP... went 4-1 with two saves... with a 1.42 ERA over 49.1 innings in 2005... struck out 39 and walked 14... team set the school-record with nine shutouts in 2005... nominated for valedictorian with a 3.8 GPA.
