2010 (Junior): Made 15 starts, mostly on Sunday … Tied with Andrew Gagnon for the most starts in 2010 … The Big West Pitcher of the Week on April 12 … Posted a 4.85 ERA with 45 strikeouts over 85.1 innings pitched … Third on the team in both innings pitched and strikeouts … Finished the season by going 4-4 after dropping his first three starts … Rebounded from a slow start to pick up his first Division I win against Wichita State, throwing seven innings of one-run ball, giving up six hits (3/14) … Followed that with seven shutout innings against UNLV, striking out a career-high six batters (3/21) … Improved to 2-3 with a third consecutive 7.0 inning start, allowing two runs on the road at #9 Oregon State (3/27) … Made another quality start against Pacific, going 7.1 innings and allowing one earned run in a no-decision (4/3) … Had his best performance of the year, throwing a complete-game shutout at UC Davis, allowing just three hits while striking out three to earn Big West Pitcher of the Week honors (4/10) … Pitched 8.0 innings against UCSB while allowing one run on three hits in another no-decision (4/25) … Pitched one inning of scoreless relief on Friday against Stanford (5/7) … Came back two days later and got the win after throwing five strikeouts over 6.0 innings (5/9).
 
Prior to LBSU: Earned All-Orange Empire honors in 2008 for Santa Ana College after tying for the team lead with 17 starts … Helped Santa Ana take the league championship in 2008 and 2009 … As a freshman, posted an 8-2 record with a 4.23 ERA with 48 strikeouts … Made four starts, posting a 2-1 record before getting injured in 2009 … Finished year as a redshirt.
 
High School: A four-year letterwinner at Centennial High School in Corona … Led team to the playoffs as a junior and senior, and took the Huskies to a league championship in 2007 … Earned All-League honors as a junior and senior … Named the league Pitcher of the Year in 2006.
