Bio
Summer League: Appeared in five games in the Cape Cod League in late July 2006 and early August for Yarmouth-Dennis, batting .267 with two RBI, as he recovered from a shoulder injury reagrivated late in the 2006 season... played for the Alaska Goldpanners in the Summer of 2005, appearing in 13 games with 12 starts batting .244 with six runs, three triples and five RBI... injured his right shoulder as the team went on to the NBC World Series in Wichita, KS... injury would bother him into the 2006 season... played for the Alaska Glacier Pilots in 2004... batted .269 over 41 games with 16 runs and 15 RBI... also had seven steals... produced six doubles and a triple as well... walked 10 times.
LBSU Career: Starter at first for three seasons, appearing in 129 games with 115 starts... batting .312 over his career with 61 career runs, 24 doubles and one homer... has driven in 65... has a .987 career fielding percentage.
2007 (Junior): Appeared in 40 games with 36 starts batting a career-best .333 with 27 runs and 20 RBI... had eight doubles with 32 starts at first base and four at designated hitter... missed about three weeks of the season from April 14 to May 11 with a wrist injury... went 5-for-6 with three runs and a two-run single and RBI single at Arizona State on March 10... had entered series batting .150 prior to a .667 weekend and Big West Player of the Week nod, the first of two for him... this after two singles the day before in the desert... went 3-for-5 with three RBI including an RBI single in the eighth and a two-run single in the ninth at Cal State Fullerton on May 26... had multi-hit games in all three Titan games, with two hits an an RBI double on Friday and three hits on Sunday to be named the Big West Player of the Week for the second time.... had the game-winning double in the ninth at Wichita State on March 16.
2005 (Sophomore): Platooned at first base with Scott Bradley, appearing in 42 games with 33 starts... started 30 games at first and three at designated hitter, batting .298 with 15 runs and 21 RBI... ranked fourth on the team in RBI despite missing two weekends of the season with a shoulder injury... hit .400 over the first seven games of the season, hitting safely in the first six games... finished with eight multi-hit games... went 4-for-5 with three runs and an RBI single against San Diego State on April 25.
2005 (Freshman): Batted .305 starting 46 games at first base and playing in 47 overall... ranked third on the team with 54 hits and had nine doubles, a team-best two triples and one homer for a .395 slugging percentage... made just three errors all season, fielding at a .993 clip... had 16 multi-hit games... started the season on a tear, batting .478 over his first six games, producing five multi-hit games... hit safely in nine of his final 12 games, including four-straight upon his return, but watched his average drop from .333 to .305 over the final month of the season... went 4-for-5 with a double and a steal at UC Irvine on April 10... had three, three-hit games, going 3-for-5 at USC on February 13, including a double; 3-for-5 with an RBI against Houston on March 11 and had three hits at Pepperdine on April 12, producing an RBI double... hit a solo home run at UC Santa Barbara on May 7.
